Excellent sandwich shop that fits right into the aesthetics and vibe of east Nashville. It sits in a very neat house-like building and is packed full of people which is impressive. Very quick service even with how busy they are. The reuben sandwich was fantastic. There's like 10 other sandwiches I would like to try

Excellent venue in The Inglewood area of East Nashville for soups & sandwiches. Fast & friendly service, abundant portions & well put together sandwiches.

Came here back in September, as recommended by Jordy Searcy, and had a FABULOUS experience. The service was excellent, I enjoyed the friendly and kind staff. My sandwich (the Turkey Brie) was one of the best I've ever had! The bread was delectable, just perfect. A nice little place with indoor and outdoor seating. I can't wait to go back!!

Mitchell's is always phenomenal. That's really all I have to say. Appropriately priced, delicious, and quick service. What more could you ask for. Plenty of inside space to sit down and enjoy (to me) a top 3 sandwich in Nashville. 10/10, no notes! Go see for yourself and enjoy. You won't regret it!

Favorite Dishes: Turkey Avocado Sandwich with Braised Turkey, Benton's Bacon, Cheddar, Sprouts, Avocado, Tomato, and Mayonnaise on Silke's Whole Wheat

Delicious no nonsense bagel and coffee. Service is quick and efficient. Order at the counter and they'll call your name. Grab some to go items from the cooler for later. The only downside is the parking lot is small, but there's street parking available.

I enjoyed this establishment while on a quick lunch break. The sandwich was very yummy, but there was a bit of a line as it was the lunch rush hour.

Good food and turkey Avocado BLT was mouthwatering and perfect after our hike around Shelby! Not too crowded except weekends and lunchtime has a line. Go earlier than lunch around noon and later after 1pm. No line! Servers were friendly and helpful. Fresh made soup daily and reasonably priced. They have tasty beer on tap and wished I had ordered one.

We ate at Mitchell's Delicatessen because we had seen it on Tennessee Crossroads. We had been wanting to try other sandwiches besides hot chicken and this was near where we were staying in Nashville. They had a simple menu consisting mostly of sandwiches and they also had a $11.99 a pound salad bar inside. They place was clean and nice but we chose to eat outside since it was a nice sunny day. We enjoyed our sandwiches and would recommend this place if you our in the mood for sandwiches.

Mitchell's has quickly become our go-to lunch spot - and everything we've tried so far from their expansive menu has been incredibly tasty! I highly recommend ordering ahead online if possible ... especially on the weekend. If you do brave the dine-in line on a Saturday or a Sunday, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes ... and you may have to quickly stake your claim on a table after ordering. The interior of the restaurant is casual and comforting, with almost a "local diner" feel to it. The outdoor patio is spacious and covered! Of the several sammies I've sampled, the Pastrami and Swiss is my favorite. I also quite liked their Turkey Brie, which is a unique take on the classic. We have yet to try any of their breakfast options ... but that's only because I always seem to be in more of a "lunch mood" when I'm ordering. I'm sure that will change one of these days.
